RAYLINE
A pure strategy game of light and geometry.
No randomness.No hidden information.
Just you — and the ray.
RAYLINE is a laser-routing strategy game on a 9×9 grid. Place reflectors to bend light. Deploy boosters to extend its reach. Chain them together — and when the path clicks into place, your opponent's position collapses in an instant.

Quick Facts
- Pure strategy board game. No randomness. No hidden information.
- 10–15 minutes per game
- Online multiplayer
- Plays in your browser — no download needed
- Free play
Each player has a laser emitter at their corner.
On your turn: place a piece, move one, transform it into a different type, or rotate your emitter. Then the laser fires.
The laser travels up to 3 squares per segment. Hit a reflector — it bends 90° and gets another 3. Miss everything — it dies in empty air. If the beam reaches your opponent's home zone, they're done.
Sounds simple. But every piece on the board — yours and theirs — serves both sides of the line.
This is a game about reading two moves ahead — and the terror of being one move behind.

Your brilliant attack becomes your opponent's shortcut.
A defensive reflector you placed three turns ago suddenly completes their path.
Pieces
REFLECTOR (vertical & horizontal)— Bend the laser 90°. One reflector can turn your defense into their death sentence.
BOOSTER — Extend range without changing direction.

It may seem simple at first because the player has only a limited number of possible moves, but as the board state evolves, the complexity increases exponentially. It is nearly impossible to fully grasp where the intersecting rays across the board are heading, which makes it all the more exhilarating when you outmaneuver your opponent and guide a ray into their territory.
